Challenge pt 5

money for nothin' and yer waves fer free
money for nothing’ and yer waves fer free

Next up is a Sawtooth wave and I’ve gone retro—on purpose this time!

The Sawtooth waveform is used by synthesizers to create subtractive/virtual analog sounds, it’s also used to generate raster graphics on cathode ray tube-based television monitors

Because of the sawtooth wave and square wave we have 80’s trance and acid house music :la:

The sawtooth waveform sounds like this on it’s own——> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Saw…

or if you prefer how about a “Supersaw” from a Roland-JP-8000?——> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_J… [scroll down]

here’s some more samples from the Roland TB-303——> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_T…

okay enough sound-waves…next up are mathematical functions that are useful in other ways
